Preparing individual learner progress reports can take considerable time, especially when teachers need to reproduce the same school information, attendance records, descriptive remarks, and other learner details for an entire class.
To help Grade 1 teachers prepare their reports, we are sharing this FREE Learner’s Progress Report for Grade 1 Template in Microsoft Excel format.
The template follows the Learner’s Progress Report for Grade 1 format based on DepEd Order No. 15, s. 2026 and is designed for the three-term assessment system.
What’s Included in the Grade 1 Progress Report Template?
The template contains the main sections needed for recording and communicating a learner’s progress throughout the school year.
It includes:

The file is provided in Microsoft Excel format, allowing teachers to enter the information needed for their learners before printing the report.
Three-Term Learner Progress Reporting
The template provides a separate area for each of the three terms.
For every term, teachers can describe:
What Your Child Can Do (Mga Nagagawa)
This area may be used to describe the skills, knowledge, behaviors, and competencies that the learner is already able to demonstrate.
What Your Child Is Learning to Improve (Dapat Linangin)
This area may be used to identify competencies or areas where the learner is still developing and may need continued guidance and support.
This descriptive approach helps parents and guardians better understand the learner’s progress instead of relying only on numerical or letter grades.
Attendance Record
The Grade 1 Learner’s Progress Report also includes an attendance table covering the school months from June to April.
Teachers can record:
- Number of class days
- Number of days present
- Number of days absent
The attendance months are grouped according to the three terms.
Grade 1 Performance Levels
The template also contains the performance-level reference used in monitoring learner progress:
- A – Advancing (Namumukod-tangi)
- B – Benchmarking (Naipamamalas)
- C – Connecting (Natutungo)
- D – Developing (Napauunlad)
- E – Emerging (Nagsisimula)
These descriptors provide teachers and parents with a clearer picture of how learners are progressing in the competencies being monitored.
Important Note About the PACE Forms
This downloadable file contains the Learner’s Progress Report template.
The detailed monitoring of the learner’s progress across specific learning competencies is recorded separately through the appropriate Grade 1 PACE forms. These may include the monitoring of competencies in areas such as Reading and Literacy, Language, Mathematics, Good Manners and Right Conduct, and Makabansa.
The corresponding PACE records should therefore be prepared and attached as applicable.
